Amy S. Ingram, Esq. is the founder of Ingram Law, where she represents individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and business owners throughout the Hudson Valley and Capital District of New York. With a strong background in both Business and Family Law, Ms. Ingram provides strategic, solution-driven legal counsel tailored to protect what matters most — your livelihood, your family, and your future.
Education & Advanced Credentials
Ms. Ingram earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Sociology from Tulane University and her Master's Degree in Public Policy from Duquesne University. She graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2009 and went on to earn her LL.M. in Business Entities with honors from the University of Alabama in 2021. Her advanced graduate work focused on corporate governance, entity structuring, compliance, and business development strategy.
She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2010 and to the United States Supreme Court Bar in 2015.

In addition to her business practice, Ms. Ingram represents clients in a full range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, spousal maintenance, and post-judgment modifications. She has been practicing family law since she opened her practice and has served more than 400 children and familiesin all aspects of family law. She understands that family law cases are deeply personal and often emotionally complex. Her approach is strategic, compassionate, and focused on long-term stability for her clients and their children.
Federal Court Training & Broad Representation
Before opening her practice in upstate New York in 2011, Ms. Ingram interned for the Honorable Joy Flowers Conti in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and served as a contracts intern for the Arena Football League. She has since represented clients in local, state, and federal courts.
